The Koi Knives Kookaburra EDC Pocket Knife, known as Kyle, is a premium folding knife inspired by one of Australia’s most recognisable native birds. Part of Koi Knives’ Aviary collection, it combines natural timber and bright blue resin with a practical drop-point blade, making it well suited to everyday carry, camping, bush use and general outdoor tasks.
The Kookaburra features an 87mm drop-point blade made from Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel, hardened to approximately 58 HRC for a strong balance of edge retention, toughness and corrosion resistance. Its light maple and turquoise resin handle scales reflect the Kookaburra’s pale plumage and blue wing markings, while a caged ceramic ball-bearing pivot and top flipper tab provide smooth deployment. A secure liner lock and spring-steel pocket clip complete the design.
