Hoppes Universal Bore Guide

The Hoppe’s Universal Bore Guide is a precision firearm-cleaning accessory designed to keep the cleaning rod correctly aligned with the barrel while protecting the chamber, throat and rifling from unnecessary contact. Installed through the rifle’s action after the bolt has been removed, the guide directs patches, brushes and jags smoothly into the bore while helping prevent solvents and fouling from dripping back into the action.

Supplied with three interchangeable chamber tips, the Hoppe’s Universal Bore Guide accommodates rifle calibres from .17 to .416. Its aluminium action collar is designed to fit .695-inch and .700-inch diameter bolt actions of varying lengths, while a threaded brass locking pin secures the guide in place through the action. By supporting proper breech-to-muzzle cleaning and reducing cleaning-rod contact with the rifling near the chamber, it is a practical addition to any rifle maintenance kit.
