The Koi Knives Pacific Gull Fishing Knife, known as Pat, is a purpose-built folding knife designed for fishing, boating and coastal use. Inspired by Australia’s Pacific Gull, it combines a corrosion-resistant blade with specialised fishing features and a highly visible, secure-grip handle suited to wet environments.
The knife features a 75.5mm Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel blade hardened to approximately 58 HRC, providing a strong balance of corrosion resistance, toughness and edge retention. The blade includes a combination cutting edge with 31.4mm of serrations, while the handle incorporates an integrated line cutter and a flat tapered section for prying open shells and pippies. Deeply textured red-and-yellow G10 handle scales provide secure grip when wet, and an O-ring attachment point allows the knife to be clipped to a belt, pack or boat gear.
